Take your landscape photography to the next level or try a new technique, learning at your own pace in a relaxed informal environment.

For the past few years I have run a busy schedule of landscape photography tuition workshop courses at various locations across the UK including Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Northumberland, North and South Wales, plus Anglesey.

Now based on the Isle of Skye in Scotland I am able to offer bespoke 1 to 1 and small group workshops (up to 3 participants, if you have friends or relatives who would like to join you).

My landscape photography workshop courses are totally customised to your requirements and feature a half or full day of photography and instruction.

My landscape and seascape photography workshop courses include digital, film, long exposures and black and white tuition.
The small size of the group allows me to provide personalised tuition and advice based on your experience and requirements and also to maximise the potential of each location without overcrowding.
Various photographic styles can be incorporated including long exposure, black and white, panoramas, and even film photography (including processing).
I have intimate knowledge of the FujiFilm mirrorless cameras and can help you to unlock the less obvious features that make the X-series a great landscape tool

You will learn all about composition, how to read light, the relationship between shutter speed, aperture and ISO, hyperfocal distance, depth of field, when and how to use filters and lots more.
If you wish we can also cover basic image processing on the computer using software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
Ideally you will have a digital SLR or compact system/mirrorless camera with a wide angle and a standard to medium telephoto zoom (or prime) lenses, plus a tripod. Filters including a polariser would be useful and solid neutral density (ND) filters are essential if you wish to capture long exposures.

Please get in touch using the form below with your choice of locations and dates, including your level of photographic experience and what you are looking to achieve from the workshop course.
