RAF Lossiemouth Tornado Farewell

RAF Lossiemouth said farewell today to the Panavia Tornado with a series of flypasts.

The aircraft involved were ‘Tonka’ GR.4s ZG752/129 (Camouflage), ZD716/084 (Goldstar) and ZG775/134 (9 Squadron Special) in the 3-ship formation flypast and ZD744/092 also flew over at a higher altitude.

ZG775 also performed further flypasts in company with a pair of 9 Squadron Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4s ZJ924/924 and ZJ935/935 while BAe Hawk T1A XX198/CH (callsign Pirate 22) acted as camera-ship, landing shortly after the Tornados left Lossiemouth for the final time heading back to RAF Marham.
